Finance Manager
Who are you
Territory Studio is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to collaborate with the Group Controller and Senior Finance Assistant in managing the group’s financial operations across all regions. This role will support local management teams in both the UK and US, while driving key finance initiatives and ensuring the efficient management of daily financial activities
An ability and desire to take full ownership of the role is essential, providing opportunities for personal development as the business grows. The role combines commercial finance, FP&A, and controllership, with regular interaction with the Group CFO, Founders, Board, and local MDs.
This role is based at our London Studio, and involves a hybrid work schedule with 2-days-in-the-office per week.

The Role
Collaborate with the creative and production teams to understand and drive the budgets, profitability and commercial dynamics of each project.
- Deliver timely management reporting to the CFO, executive team and local leadership teams, offering clear insights into financial performance against relevant KPIs.

Billable utilisation
Manage the budget and reforecasting for specific departments, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and board packs for one entity in the UK and two in the US.
Manage and execute month and year end processes, to ensure the timely and accurate close of financial periods.
Liaise with external auditors on the annual audit process across all group entities and ensure compliance of smaller entities in Ireland, Spain and Germany.
Execute relevant tax filings across all jurisdictions e.g. VAT with support from third party advisors.
Short term cash flow forecasting.
Payroll processing.
Manage the Senior Finance Assistant to ensure accuracy, timely completion of tasks and ongoing development.
Support the Group Controller and CFO on an ad hoc basis to assess strategic and commercial opportunities and on key finance projects e.g. process automation, system implementation.
Required Skills/ Experience
The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills. In order to be considered, this person will possess:
Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven finance experience in a creative (services) environment
Highly motivated and mature approach; taking accountability for delivery of personal and business objectives
Ability to work with non-finance stakeholders, applying a commercial outlook to discussion and decision making
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy, with a ‘right first time’ mindset

Experience using Paprika is ideal but not essential. Ability to pick up new systems is more important.
