Compositor (Mid-Level, 3-Month FTC)
Who are you
Territory Studio is looking for a mid-level Compositor to join our VFX team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract starting in May 2026, with potential to extend.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality shots, working at the final stage of the VFX pipeline to bring together multiple elements into a seamless, polished result. You’ll be comfortable working independently on shots, while collaborating closely with supervisors and production to meet creative and technical expectations.
This role is based at our London studio and follows a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 2 days per week on site.

What sets us apart is our refined design intelligence, near-future expertise, and a team of ambitious, focused, and proactive cross-disciplinary creatives.
With growing studios in London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver, we work with clients across the entertainment, culture, commercial, and technology sectors. Our success stems from the expertise of our people, and in return, we are committed to putting them first.
What you’ll be doing
Compositing shots in Nuke, integrating 2D, 3D, live action, GFX, and matte elements to a high visual standard
Performing keying, relighting, and light-based effects such as glows, flares, and lens artefacts
Ensuring all elements integrate seamlessly in terms of lighting, perspective, motion, and colour
Troubleshooting both creative and technical challenges with a strong eye for detail
Maintaining clean, efficient Nuke scripts and following established pipeline workflows
Managing your own workload and delivering shots on time
Collaborating with VFX Supervisors, Production, and the wider team
Participating in dailies and reviews, responding to feedback and iterating quickly
What we’re looking for
Essential:
Solid experience compositing in Nuke high end feature films
Strong understanding of colour, light, perspective and photographic principles
Confident tracking and integrating CG and live-action elements
Ability to work independently on shots and manage your own time
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and responding to feedback
Nice to have:
